Validation Engineer Location: Mountainview, CA (Onsite) Long Term Contract
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end validation of Infotainment and Telematics platforms on a Linux test host machine using pytest.
- Strong expertise in Python programming and the pytest framework.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Strong Git knowledge.
- Perform DV testing of ICI and Telematics platforms.
- Strong coordination skills with customer stakeholders and offshore teams
- Hands-on experience with automotive testing and lab equipment, including:
- Automotive Ethernet (iperf testing)
- Audio analyzers
- Function generators
- MSO (Mixed Signal Oscilloscope)
- Wi-Fi / Bluetooth testers
- CAN
- A2B
- RF signal generators (AM,FM &SDARS)
- GNSS simulators
- 3G / 4G / 5G network simulators
- I/O protocols (I C, GPIO, PWM, ADC)
- Serial communication protocols
- Experience in EMC, thermal chamber, and vibration testing.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging skills, including issue triaging, reporting, and tracking.
