User/Fab Support:
* Help users and manufacturing (fab) with issues on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and printers.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
* Set up new devices and configure them for users.
Device Management:
* Install and update operating systems and applications.
* Maintain an inventory of all devices and perform regular checks.
Security:
* Ensure devices are secure with antivirus software and necessary updates.
* Assist with encryptions and VPNs to protect company data.
Network:
* Help users with basic network issues like Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity.
* Work with other teams for more advanced network problems.
Documentation:
* Keep records of all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
* Create simple guides for common problems users face.
Collaboration:
* Work with other IT teams and communicate with vendors when necessary.
Compliance:
* Ensure workstations meet company IT and security policies.
* Keep systems properly licensed and updated.
Inventory Management:
* Track and manage workstation hardware/software inventory.
System Monitoring:
* Monitor workstation performance.
* Suggest and implement improvements.
Experience: 5+ years IT support.
