Description
Join a dynamic Information Technology team as an IT Hardware Technician, where you'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining computer hardware systems, ensuring proper installation and upkeep, and providing support to internal end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer hardware systems including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and repair end-user network connections including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi
  • Perform routine maintenance on hardware, such as upgrading RAM, replacing hard drives, and installing software updates
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site
  • Provide technical support and training to internal team members
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Document and maintain inventory of hardware and software assets

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in an associate degree program in computer science or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of computer hardware systems and networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Prior experience in IT support or a related field is a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
