RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Data Center Project Architect III in Seattle, WA. Key job responsibilities will include utilizing Revit to design the BIM model for Mechanical Controls Systems of Data Centers. You must be able to work independently and work within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks. This includes working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
Duties:
* Work within the Controls Design, MEP group, as well as within other teams
* Preparing and developing detailed Revit models of Control Systems relating to Mechanical building systems
* Developing & publishing construction documentation for Control Systems relating to Mechanical designs in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deliverables
* Updating and modifying the new Controls models and construction documents as required after first of a kind (FOAK) creation
* Assist with creating and maintaining standard regional BIM templates
* Participate in design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution
* Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
* Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers
* Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases
* Recording and reporting of key metrics to management
REQUIREMENTS:
* NCARB recognized architecture license
* 7+ years of design experience in commercial/industrial/other complex technical projects
* Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC or equivalent
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
