Job Title: SAP ALM Expert
Location: Summit, NJ
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ALM Expert to define, design, and implement SAP Cloud ALM strategy and architecture. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager to drive project success, ensure system reliability, and support enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the overall SAP Cloud ALM strategy and architecture, aligning with business needs and IT landscape.
- Design, configure, and customize workflows within SAP Cloud ALM for project management, testing, deployment, and change management.
- Set up and manage SAP Cloud ALM features such as test management, transport management, job monitoring, and business service management.
- Integrate SAP Cloud ALM with other SAP and third-party tools across the development ecosystem.
- Lead and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops to capture and address project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure the health and performance of SAP cloud solutions through continuous monitoring and anomaly detection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP Cloud ALM configuration and usage.
- Provide training, mentorship, and best practice guidance to development teams on SAP Cloud ALM features.
- Document procedures, knowledge base articles, and process standards for ongoing reference.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in SAP Cloud ALM, including test management, transport management, job monitoring, and business service management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and its use within SAP Cloud ALM.
- Familiarity with SAP solutions such as S/4HANA, CRM, and ECC.
- 5+ years of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2) hands-on configuration experience.
- 2 3 full lifecycle implementation projects in SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating SAP Cloud ALM with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Exposure to multi-system or multi-region SAP landscapes.
- Ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams.
