Medical Lab Technologist | Detroit, MI | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist with 3-5+ years of experience located in Detroit, MI. This is a contract opportunity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Certifications: BLS , MLT
- Need accessioning experience
- Technology: Epic, Sunquest CoPathPlush (LIS)
- Prior experience in clinical labs, handling specimens and comfortable in PPE.
- A fair amount of testing is prenatal testing.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.
