Data Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Business Analyst in San Antonio, TX.

Duties:
* Analyzes non-IT business problems and articulates requirements to support process improvement opportunities
* Data Business Analyst will create framework for assessing financial payback
* Identifies alternative solutions and makes recommendations
* Prepares documentation of current and desired state
* As a Data Business Analyst, you will develop requirements and build a common understanding between process owners and solution developers
* Role demands ability to assess process performance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in preparing ROI statements for proposed investments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in business or science
* 2-5 years prior experience in lieu of degree
* Strong background in data governance, data management, or compliance
* Proven experience in policy development and implementation
* Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation)
* Knowledge of data privacy regulations and risk management frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical policies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
