Job Details

We are seeking a talented Cleo Environment Support Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Cleo environment, responding to incidents and alerts, troubleshooting customer issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in configuring and managing EDI trading partners, troubleshooting data-related issues, and performing bug fixes for translation issues. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively with internal departments to deliver the highest level of support to our customers and exhibit a strong sense of ownership in resolving issues until they are completely resolved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cleo environment, including configuring and managing EDI trading partners, setting up data mappings, and monitoring data flows.
  • Respond to incidents and event-driven alerts, troubleshoot customer issues, and provide timely resolution.
  • Investigate data-related issues and communicate the root cause to customers.
  • Perform bug fixes for translation issues identified in production environments.
  • Facilitate trading partner onboarding and create SFTP/AS2 setups as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure the highest level of support for customers.
  • Timely escalation of critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Exhibit ownership of customer systems and work on issues until completely resolved.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using Cleo or similar EDI software platforms, with experience in configuring and managing EDI trading partners, data mappings, and system upgrades. Strong skills in RHEL Linux, file protocols (SMB and NFS), and familiarity with Java JVM are desired.
  • Networking and Protocols: Understanding of networking principles and protocols used in EDI communication, including FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S, and VANs. Knowledge of security protocols and encryption methods used to secure EDI transmissions is essential.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI data transmissions, connectivity problems, and data mapping errors. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure are required.
  • Understanding of EDI: Strong understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and other transaction sets. Familiarity with EDI protocols and communication methods is necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting EDI environments or similar roles.
  • Certification in Cleo or related technologies is a plus.
