Job Details

Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a cloud data warehouse modernization initiative, migrating from SQL Server/AWS to a Snowflake-based platform. This role focuses on building and automating CI/CD pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring reliability across Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and Informatica environments.

Top Skills:
  • Snowflake: Roles, warehouses, performance tuning, cost control
  • Apache Airflow: DAG orchestration, monitoring, deployments
  • Informatica (IICS): Pipeline deployment automation preferred
  • CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Terraform, Python, Shell scripting
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Nice to Have:
  • Migration experience from SQL Server or legacy DW
  • FinOps practices for Snowflake optimization
  • Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience*****

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, Airflow, and Informatica
  • Automate deployments and code promotion across environments
  • Implement IaC using Terraform
  • Optimize pipeline performance and cost governance
  • Ensure secure connectivity and enforce DevSecOps practices
  • Monitor workflows and troubleshoot issues proactively

Qualifications:
  • 3-7+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Data Platform Engineering
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $89.29 - $89.29/hr.
