About the Role:

Job Title: UX Product Designer - Finance Domain
Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week in Fort Mill, SC or Austin, TX
About the Role
  • We are seeking a UX Product Designer to join our Technology Strategy team. The candidate will design and test user experiences for financial applications, ensuring intuitive, engaging, and impactful digital journeys. You will partner closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions that balance business objectives with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery and design efforts for new and existing financial web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to capture insights and validate solutions.
  • Translate findings into personas, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Deliver project vision documentation, interactive designs, user feedback reports, and UI definition documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to guide design execution.
  • Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility, and design consistency across applications.
  • Present concepts and solutions to business leaders and stakeholders for alignment and feedback.
  • Support the development of UI standards, design systems, and data-driven UX strategies.
  • Contribute to usability improvements and innovation within digital financial experiences.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with a focus on online interactive design.
  • Financial services / fintech experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong expertise in user research, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of UI design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is encouraged.
  • Experience in responsive design, accessibility standards, and design systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor s degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred.
