Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist

Job Location: Boise, ID 83707 (Hybrid)

Job Duration: 12 months contract

 

Position Overview:

As the Idaho US expansion (ID1) Training Documentation Specialist, you will provide site support for training and development documentation programs, systems, compliance, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include support of project management. As a part of the Workforce Development (WFD) team, you may also facilitate company training; maintain training records, materials, and forms; and assist in the presentation of material for different initiatives.

Additionally, the Training Documentation Specialist facilitates training documentation review and initiation sessions. In this role, you will identify objectives, establish timelines and the allocation of resources, and conduct evaluation measures to determine effectiveness.

Documentation Management

  • Adhere to appropriate standards, styles, and templates
  • Create, modify, and archive documents using appropriate software
  • Create and modify graphics and images
  • Edit and proofread documentation
  • Work with content experts to develop and maintain document accuracy
  • Store documents in the appropriate repository, using the correct document metadata

Documentation System Admin

  • Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests
  • Manage certifications for all controlled documents in the learning management system (LMS)
  • Consult and advise department team members on data management requirements
  • Follow up on documentation access requests
  • Schedule and facilitate area meetings
  • Troubleshoot database errors and manipulate large data sets within the documentation system

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Extract and categorize data for analysis, visualization, and decision making
  • Outline data analysis strategy and document evaluation plan
  • Develop graphs and charts for reporting

Education

  • Bachelor s or equivalent experience

Required Experience

  • 5 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (preference for semiconductor domain).

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with PSM/RMP systems.
  • Experience leading the technical documentation process of new systems, equipment, process, and tool installation.
  • Experience with MadCap, Adobe, and Microsoft documentation software.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • 5 years of experience with a high-volume manufacturing and production site.
