FS MyBatis/Hibernate, Java, Oracle

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS MyBatis/Hibernate, Java, Oracle in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include:
* Design, build and support critical enterprise software applications
* Define product solutions by working directly with business and product teams
* Actively promote good engineering practices and standards
* Help navigate new technologies and cloud-based deployments to help deliver high value to our business
* Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
* Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using Open Source frameworks
* Proactively lead process and technology improvement initiatives
* Stay on top of the latest engineering trends and practices and bring them back to the team when appropriate
* Mentor junior team members

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
* 9+ years of experience in Java, MyBatis, Spring MVC/Spring/Spring boot/Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Spring framework (IoC, micro services, data access, etc.)
* Extraordinary problem-solving skills dealing with complex distributed deployments

3+ years of solutioning and coding experience with one or more of the following:
* AWS Cloud environments (S3, EKS, EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, RDS like Oracle and PostgreSQL, etc.)
* Oracle PL/SQL development

* Champion and advocate of TDD approach, Unit testing using frameworks and tools like Jest and Jasmine
* Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker), REST API development
* Fully hands on with application builds and deploys using Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, artifactory, GitHub, etc.
* Proven technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of Data Structures, design patterns and Critical thinking with critical problem-solving skills
* Experience in implementing microservices Architecture and building/deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
