We are seeking a Data Governance and Data Quality Analyst with 2-3+ years of experience to support data quality operations, governance standards, and cross-functional collaboration between business and technology teams. This role focuses on building and executing data quality rules, maintaining governance artifacts, and ensuring accurate, well-managed data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and run daily data quality (DQ) rules, reconciliations, and monitoring routines; automate where possible.

Troubleshoot data issues using SQL and partner with business and IT teams to define rules and resolve breaks.

Track and report daily data quality metrics; build and maintain Power BI dashboards for management.

Maintain data governance documentation, including data dictionaries, glossaries, and catalogs.

Support governance standards, policies, and data lineage initiatives.

Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, contributing governance insight to project backlogs and global data initiatives.

Required Skills:

2-3+ years in Data Governance or Data Quality.

Strong understanding of data governance concepts (DQ rules, cataloging, metadata).

Power BI proficiency and strong Excel/data analysis capabilities.

SQL for issue diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Cross-functional communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Ataccama or similar data governance tools.

Familiarity with Python and/or R.

Experience in Microsoft Azure environments.

Insurance industry background (preferred but not required).

Experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
