Position Overview
We re seeking an experienced VTC Technician to deliver expert onsite support for advanced video collaboration and teleconferencing systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco and Poly video systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and CVI technologies, alongside strong network troubleshooting skills and professional communication with senior government clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Room Bar and Soundbar systems daily
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Teams Rooms environments
- Serve as CVI technology expert for Teams, Zoom, and Webex integration and troubleshooting
- Provide comprehensive AV support including displays, cameras, microphones, and projection systems
- Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools for issue tracking and resolution
- Lead onsite operations independently with strong self-sufficiency
- Communicate effectively with high-level government clients
- Apply knowledge of network protocols (SIP, H.323, H.245, ISDN) to support video collaboration
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting focused on video streaming challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience with Cisco and Poly video collaboration systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams Rooms administration and support
- Expert in CVI technologies and multi-platform video integration (Teams, Zoom, Webex)
- Strong AV technical skills including setup and maintenance of AV equipment
- Solid understanding of network protocols relevant to video teleconferencing
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and video streaming issues
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with government clients
- Self-motivated and able to lead onsite as primary technician
- Willing to undergo a detailed technical interview process
