Skills -

• Preferably 10+ years experience as an Oracle Linux system administrator managing a large scale of UNIX environment
• Working knowledge to install, configure & troubleshoot: Linux\Unix operating systems LDOMS, zfs file systems, and zones on prem and different cloud services environments
• Experience in Shell scripting
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting networking services and protocols to support Linux\Unix environment i.e. TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, SFTP, HTTP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, SSH, Sendmail, etc.
• Working knowledge of configuring and managing Oracle virtual technology: LDOMS, Zones/containers
• Experience in supporting Oracle Applications Server, WebLogic, and Oracle RDBMS in/Linux operating systems
• Experience in configuring and managing Oracle Storage Area Network (SAN), Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle Cluster File System (OCFS)
• Experience in Symantec NetBackup and VEEAM for file systems backup and recovery plans
• Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for recognizing and resolving technical (hardware, software, application) problems
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and perform in a high-paced/high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently or within a group to solve complex problems.
• Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
