Description
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer II to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will focus on developing and refining machine learning algorithms, building robust data pipelines, and ensuring the successful deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and validate machine learning algorithms to enhance product functionality and applications.
Design and implement data pipelines that include ingestion, validation, cleaning, and monitoring processes.
Train machine learning models, validate their accuracy, and deploy them into production environments.
Create proofs of concept and participate in research studies to support the development of future products and applications.
Draft technical documentation, including evaluation plans, technical manuals, white papers, and reports.
Conduct testing and evaluation of solutions, completing case studies and detailed reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Represent the team by contributing technical expertise to project discussions and planning.
Perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance of deployed machine learning models to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Proven experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and statistical analysis tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Familiarity with data pipeline technologies and cloud platforms like Kafka, Spark, and Docker.
Strong software development skills and ability to deploy and monitor machine learning models.
3-5 years of relevant experience after earning a Bachelor's degree or a recent Master's degree.
Excellent documentation, reporting, and technical writing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and contribute to complex technical projects.
