Overview
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer III to lead the design, development, and evaluation of advanced learning solutions that support strategic organizational initiatives. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in CST or EST time zones. The ideal candidate brings expertise in e-learning tools, curriculum development, and adult learning theory, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
Design and develop complex training programs, including instructor-led, virtual, online, and blended learning solutions.
Create new training materials and evaluate existing curriculum using proven instructional design methodologies.
Establish and maintain training standards to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational learning goals.
Partner with business leaders to conduct needs analyses and deliver tailored training solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative learning culture.
Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
Stay current with emerging technologies and instructional design best practices, recommending new approaches for adoption.
Required Skills
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
46 years of instructional design and development experience.
Expertise with e-learning development tools such as Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong background in designing instructor-led training (virtual or classroom-based).
Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and evaluation methodologies.
Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
Strong project management abilities with the capability to oversee multiple initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in a related field.
Experience mentoring peers or junior instructional designers.
Demonstrated ability to measure and communicate ROI for learning solutions.
