This role presents an exciting opportunity to support Snowflake as a Temporary Worker as they continue to scale and accelerate their growth. You'll get the opportunity to apply your expertise as a Temporary Worker. You'll be an essential contributor to our team, working in an environment that values innovation and fosters meaningful contributions from all collaborators.

Snowpark unleashes the power of Snowflake for Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Developers. Snowpark is an interface to Snowflake in different language environments, but also a platform that customers and partners build exciting applications on. And that s not all - Snowpark is also used by various teams at Snowflake to build new products and features for customers.

We re dedicated to building the best Python experience possible, and handling Python packages is at the heart of the Snowpark Python story. We re looking for a passionate software QA engineer to help us sync/validate new python packages, write test cases, write package regression tests, troubleshoot packages, and potentially help with pipeline automation.

In this role, you will get the opportunity to

  • Help bring stability and rhythm to Snowflake Anaconda channel releases
  • Write test automation for Python packages
  • Research and troubleshoot python packages
  • Work with PM and engineers to solve packing pain points
  • Potentially help with jenkins pipeline automation

You

  • Are proficient with Python
  • Can write quality test plans and test cases
  • Have experience writing test automation
  • Can sync and release Python packages as part of the pipeline

Bonus if you

  • Have strong Python skills
  • Are able to debug Python package failures
  • Have Jenkins automation experience
  • Have build/release engineering experience

Have systems, architecture, or container experience
