We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Engineering Project Manager III to join our rapidly growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage complex engineering projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and design, through to execution and completion. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and the ability to manage resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee project costing, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and financial targets are met.
  • Prepare and present monthly project reports to senior management, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project resources, including equipment and materials, to ensure efficient and effective use.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to manage these effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative project environment, promoting open communication and team engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in project scheduling and resource management.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in project costing and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks effectively.
  • Must be safety-conscious and have a good understanding of safety regulations and standards in the engineering industry.
