Position Summary:

Client is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our growing Automation team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium (C#) and MABL, while also mentoring QA team members on best practices and tool adoption. Working closely with the Automation Manager, this individual will help strengthen testing standards, improve regression coverage, and advance automation capabilities across teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and functional testing using Selenium (C#) and MABL within the established frameworks.
• Mentor QA team members on automation best practices and MABL platform usage.
• Collaborate with developers, system analysts, and QA engineers to align automation coverage with business requirements and project goals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring testability is included in the definition-of-done.
• Conduct code reviews for automated test scripts to enforce coding and framework standards.
• Analyze manual test cases and functional specifications to define efficient, reusable automation solutions.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, processes, and team collaboration.
• Partner with the Automation Manager to identify training opportunities and enhance automation adoption across QA teams.
• Document test logic to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo or Jenkins.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes knowledge sharing, transparency, and continuous feedback.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering with automation. (Required)
• 3+ years of experience developing Selenium-based automation scripts in C#. (Required)
• Hands-on experience using MABL for test automation, including creation, execution, and reporting. (Required)
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks, coding best practices, and design patterns (Page Object Model, keyword/data-driven frameworks).
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, and experience testing RESTful APIs & SOAP services (ReadyAPI preferred).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins). (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of Jira and Bitbucket (or equivalent source code repositories). (Preferred)
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of Life Insurance and/or Annuities is a plus.
• Experience with Python, mobile automation (Sauce Labs), or .NET development is a plus.
