Overview:

We are seeking a Senior ASP.NET Full Stack Developer who will support the State of New York on multiple IT projects. The role involves full stack development of web applications using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on building responsive user interfaces, backend logic, and secure integrations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Duties:

  • Develop web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.

  • Create front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Apply strong technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Use problem-solving skills to address development challenges.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer.

  • 7+ years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C# and/or ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.

  • 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.

  • 7+ years of experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.

  • 7+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP/Restful APIs, message and queue processing, and/or an Enterprise Service Bus. Experience in designing & implementing micro services.

  • 4+ years of experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.

  • 2+ years of experience in designing & implementing CI/CD workflows.

  • 2+ years of experience in health and human services, especially in Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support, etc.
