STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Endpoint Engineer to lead the analysis, configuration, monitoring, and automation of the Nexthink platform. This is a high-impact role on the Enterprise Endpoint Engineering team, focused on leveraging device analytics and automation to redefine and modernize the end user computing experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving the Digital Employee Experience (DEX), proactively identifying and addressing endpoint issues, and using actionable data insights to implement preventative solutions and optimize workplace technology.


Responsibilities



  • Design, implement, and maintain Nexthink dashboards, investigations, campaigns, and services focused on device performance and user experience.

  • Develop and operationalize a device health scoring system to support targeted PC refresh initiatives.

  • Drive proactive maintenance using predictive analytics to inform software updates, storage optimization, and patching strategies.

  • Lead the analysis, configuration, and ongoing administration of the Nexthink platform in alignment with strategic goals.

  • Implement automation to streamline workflows and resolve issues before they impact users.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Local IT, Cybersecurity, and Software Governance.

  • Provide technical guidance and translate complex data into actionable improvements for digital productivity.

  • Explore innovative use cases for Nexthink to support enterprise-wide operational excellence.

  • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for engineering and operations teams.

  • Keep abreast of emerging trends in IT infrastructure, DEX, and automation tools, applying them to evolve the team's approach.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in desktop/end user systems engineering, preferably within large-scale enterprises (30,000+ endpoints).

  • Proficiency with Nexthink or similar platforms (e.g., Microsoft Analytics, Riverbed Aternity, ControlUp One).

  • Strong scripting and automation skills with tools such as Ansible, Bash, NQL, PowerShell, or Python.

  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), and endpoint management platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability in system monitoring, incident prevention, and performance troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance best practices.

  • Extensive experience with tools such as Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Jamf, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical teams and leadership.

  • Nexthink certifications.


Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $50 - 60/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
