Audience Operations Analyst
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Duration: 5-month contract
About the Role
We are seeking an Audience Operations Analyst to help develop, activate, and optimize data-driven audience strategies across multiple digital channels. This role focuses on leveraging first-party customer data to improve targeting precision, enhance campaign performance, and drive stronger return on ad spend (ROAS).
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a passion for using data to deliver smarter marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
< data-start="836" data-end="866">Planning & Activation</>Develop and manage custom audience segments across campaigns and digital channels.
Monitor and report on audience performance to identify fatigue and recommend optimizations.
Analyze customer journeys across digital and in-store touchpoints to uncover insights and opportunities.
Use behavioral and audience insights to support campaign planning and enhance targeting accuracy.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design audience segmentation strategies that align with business objectives.
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and sales teams to translate goals into actionable audience strategies.
Coordinate with external partners and technology vendors to ensure effective audience activation.
Manage workflows and ensure timely, accurate audience delivery using project management tools.
Apply A/B testing, analytics, and customer insights to evaluate and refine audience strategies.
Stay current on trends in digital media, consumer behavior, and data technology to identify new targeting opportunities.
Recommend and implement data-driven audience strategies that improve engagement, conversion, and ROI.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Hands-on experience building and activating audiences using first-party data within AdTech or MarTech platforms.
Strong ability to translate business objectives into actionable segmentation and targeting plans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and audience management tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in digital advertising, media operations, or audience strategy.
Solid understanding of digital media metrics, audience segmentation, and targeting best practices.
Experience using customer insights and analytics to support campaign planning.
Familiarity with tools such as LiveRamp, SAS CRM Management, or Adobe CDP.
