Job Details

BlueHalo, an AV company, is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced RF Systems Electrical Engineering Team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience designing and developing wiring diagrams and supporting electrical integration efforts in complex systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work within agile, cross-disciplinary teams at the forefront of RF and defense technology.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and modification of detailed wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
Collaborate with Mechanical and Systems Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Support the development of system-level cable routing, power distribution, and interconnect documentation.
Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar) to generate technical drawings.
Help prepare design packages that comply with applicable military and industry standards.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revisions.
Assist with troubleshooting and validation of wiring assemblies during prototyping or system integration.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Junior, Senior, or recent graduate preferred).
Experience creating or interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
Basic understanding of power systems, grounding, and signal integrity principles.
Knowledge of cable and connector types used in defense or aerospace applications is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bonus: Experience with hands-on wiring or cable assembly.
Due to the nature of this role U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
