Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team.

This key role involves provisioning and maintaining Kubernetes clusters on-premises and on Azure to support our NextGen Microservice platform, as well as optimizing CI/CD pipelines and advancing automation processes for streamlined application deployment and management.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities
  • Provision and support Kubernetes clusters on both on-premises and Azure environments
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Microservice applications into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Build and maintain scalable and highly available systems to meet performance demands
  • Optimize Linux-based systems for stability, security, and high availability in production environments
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance across cloud and on-premises platforms
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and cloud resource management
  • Ensure reliable and efficient deployment processes for all applications
  • Contribute to security and compliance practices, integrating security checks into pipelines and infrastructure setups
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team

Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration on both on-premises and Azure environments
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, with a deep understanding of pipeline optimization
  • Strong background in Linux administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security practices
  • Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Solid understanding of enterprise-level cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
  • Experience integrating DevOps practices within Microservice architectures
  • Familiarity with version control tools and workflows, particularly Git

Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Akamai for content delivery and performance optimization
  • Skills in Ansible or similar tools for configuration management and automation
  • Familiarity with Network Administration concepts for troubleshooting and optimization
  • Background in Python for scripting and automation
  • Capability to implement GitOps principles for operational workflows
