Job Description

Our team Fusion Release Engineering (FRE) is a central portfolio team for Fusion Applications Development that specializes in automation frameworks and continuous integration between Fusion Applications, Spectra services, Spectra Application, Middleware and RDBMS. We specialize in SaaS and Cloud automation as well as server side abstraction frameworks. We are seeking dynamic people to join this high-profile, agile development team to own the planning, execution, and delivery of customer implementations of Oracle Cloud projects.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software or product development teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration abilities, working effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Capable of managing ambiguity, handling multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS-based cloud-native enterprise application products.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fluid environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile DevOps continuous delivery environment with geographically distributed teams is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • As the Family Branch Integrator, collaborate with various infrastructure organizations, development teams, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration across functions.
  • Ensure the product lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline adhere to the highest global coding standards.
  • Configure and maintain development test database environments to support project needs.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the software development team
  • Leveraging both technical expertise and business acumen to guide and mentor others.
  • Contribute to the setup of OCI infrastructure, system configurations, and the automation of environments and processes.
  • Act as a leader within the team, mentoring junior team members on various DevOps activities such as monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Global Security and IT teams to define and implement best practices for security, performance, and cloud infrastructure.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in web services and XML technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation for building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Expertise in at least two of Oracle's core offerings: infrastructure, database, middleware, and analytics.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, including self-installed on-premises or OCI-based instances.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, and similar systems.
  • Programming and scripting experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, Perl, and Bash.
  • Strong written communication skills with a focus on clear documentation.
  • Deep understanding and application of security standards and best practices.
  • Cloud expertise, with experience in OCI, AWS, or Azure environments.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
