Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Security Engineer Cybersecurity to join our security engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in securing our cloud infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud security, identity and access management, and application security, and can drive secure architecture and operational excellence across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Configure and troubleshoot Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules and CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) policies to ensure secure web application delivery.
- Secure development pipelines by managing and safeguarding software packages using Azure Artifacts and Anaconda Enterprise Package Repositories.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to assess and improve the security of cloud-native applications and APIs hosted in Azure.
- Conduct cloud application architecture reviews and provide recommendations for secure design and deployment.
- Investigate and perform forensic analysis on security incidents related to Application Security and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support the integration and engineering of CyberArk PAM solutions across the organization (preferred).
- Assist in securing Microsoft s Power Platform, Data Fabric, and related technologies (preferred).
- Maintain documentation of security architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements impacting cloud and enterprise security.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 3+ years focused on Azure security engineering.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with:
- Azure RBAC, PIM, and PAM
- Azure WAF and CORS configurations
- Azure Artifacts and Anaconda Enterprise for secure software distribution
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and application security best practices.
- Azure Security certification, such as AZ-500 (Microsoft Azure Security Technologies) Required.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, etc.) for security automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience engineering and maintaining CyberArk PAM.
- Experience performing application-level forensics and analyzing security incidents.
- Familiarity with secure implementation of solutions in Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Data Fabric environments.
- Other relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC) are a plus.
