Job overview and responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to help run/leverage/deploy AWS within an Application development environment and lead a team focused on digital transformation, providing hands-on leadership in designing, analyzing, and developing scalable solutions. You will emphasize solutions architecture, technical expertise, Agile development practices, and driving organizational change.
• Collaborate with enterprise applications teams to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards and provide daily operational support.
• Develop and uphold architecture guidelines and best practices for software systems, cloud data, and integration initiatives.
• Implement and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and observability using AWS Ecosystem tools for efficient software delivery.
• Design and oversee provisioning of on-premises servers, AWS cloud infrastructure, and cloud cost management.
• Lead identification, management, and mitigation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams, promoting best practices and advocating for new technologies.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and assess alignment with enterprise architecture to meet organizational requirements.
• Build impactful products with business partners that delight customers and drive business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end application lifecycle from analysis through deployment and maintenance, ensuring on-budget and on-schedule delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders to align development efforts with strategic priorities and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a strong background in the development of complex enterprise applications and infrastructure and 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
• Proficiency in managing software development projects, including familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices, and software lifecycle management.
• Previous experience in owning projects and delivering successfully.
• Ability to prioritize projects and initiatives based on their alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
• Technology management & delivery leadership experience, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to quickly triage and drive the resolution effort for production support situations.
• Expertise with Cloud and on-premises infrastructure provisioning, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and observability tools.
• Security and Vulnerability Management: Solid understanding of security best practices, including vulnerability management and mitigation.
• Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Micro-services, Message/ event-based architectures and serverless architectures.
• Data Management: Proficient in data architecture, governance, and security, with experience in both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with .NET, C#, NodeJs, JavaScript(TypeScript), ReactJs, Angular.
• Experience with AWS.
• Proficient in relational and non-relational databases, data governance, and data integration strategies.
• Experience with Event Driven Architectures on platforms such as Solace or Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems.
• An expert who is accountable for their portfolio and capable of being hands on technically proficient in driving and coaching for a better result.
• Airlines industry experience.
• Experience with industry standards and regulations for compliance (e.g., PCI DSS).
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Agile Scrum.
