Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress, JavaScript automation, and Functional Testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Wealth Management, Payments, and Money Movement domains. You will work as part of the Banking squad, focusing on automation strategy, framework development, and delivering high-quality testing solutions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Banking squad/fleet on QA processes, with a strong emphasis on managing automation execution using various tools and techniques.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of automation frameworks; automate test cases to ensure comprehensive automation coverage.
• Develop utilities and customized frameworks aligned with DevOps practices to facilitate continuous testing.
• Independently estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate test and automation activities.
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents; provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Record, track, and document debugging procedures and issues.
• Monitor test metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and open defect counts to identify and address quality issues.
• Design and develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases that follow company standards.
• Perform manual regression testing when technical issues are resolved, and automate regression tests to improve efficiency.
• Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and grooming sessions within an Agile framework.
• Develop test cases based on Agile user stories and specifications, ensuring accurate testing of functionality and behavior.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, trends, and strategies to continuously improve testing practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of proven experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation.
• Demonstrable expertise in automation tools and frameworks including Selenium, Protractor, UFT, JUnit, Gherkin, JMeter, etc., and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Java.
• Experience in API testing and automation for services and microservices.
• In-depth knowledge of test management tools like ALM, Jira, qTest, Zephyr.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and large datasets.
• Strong experience working with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON formats.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills, capable of working efficiently in a global team setting.
