ROLE :: Java + Security in One (SOX)

Location: Mountain View, CA


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with a strong background in enterprise application development, security best practices, and SOX compliance. This role is critical in ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java-based backend systems.
  • Integrate security controls and ensure SOX compliance across services.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to implement and maintain secure development practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Automate compliance reporting and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • Experience with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in RESTful API design, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial or fintech environments.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure data handling.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or AWS Security Specialty.
