Government Representative 2 (Solutions Architect) - Posting #340-25

The Department of Children and Families, Office of Information Technology seeks a talented individual to fill a Government Representative 2 position. This position would act as a Solutions Architect within the Application Development Unit.

NOTE: This position is located in Trenton, NJ and may be eligible to work remotely for up to two days in a calendar week.

The preferred candidate will possess skills in the following areas:

Solution Design and Development:

* Design and develop comprehensive technical solutions that meet business requirements.

* Create detailed architecture documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and provide architectural solutions.

* Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment with architectural goals.

Technology Evaluation and Selection:

* Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to be used in solution development.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure solutions are innovative and effective.

System Integration:

* Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.

* Develop strategies for data migration and system interoperability.

Performance and Scalability:

* Design solutions that are performant, scalable, and resilient.

* Conduct performance testing and optimization of solutions.

Security and Compliance:

* Ensure that solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

* Implement security measures and conduct security reviews of solutions.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

* Maintain up-to-date documentation of architectural decisions and solutions.

* Share knowledge through presentations, training sessions, and documentation.

Continuous Improvement:

* Identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.

* Drive initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a field related to Information Technology.

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of programming, systems analysis or computer analysis experience.

NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated above on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.

NOTE: Master's degree in an Information Technology field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

SALARY: $110,000 - $140,000 commensurate with education and experience.
