Roles and Responsibilities:
Use ESRI GIS tools to perform data quality assessments, identify errors, and implement corrective measures.
Collaborate with senior GIS analysts to review the quality of geocoding sources and methodologies to enhance an existing model used for voter placement.
Produce professional and clear geographic outputs such as maps, shapefiles, and written recommendations for geographic requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least 2 years of experience utilizing ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online to edit and maintain geospatial datasets.
Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive quality control and quality assurance checks on geocoded address points
Experience identifying and correcting gaps, overlaps, and misalignments in statewide boundary layers (e.g., county and municipal boundaries, etc.)
Capability to use automated tools (e.g. ArcPy) and manual techniques to validate spatial data and correct errors.
Facility working with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues and improve data accuracy.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent data standards.
Strong communication skills, including preparing clear and accurate documentation of data quality procedures, error correction methods, data sources.
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating layers and data quality assurance processes to general audiences
