IT Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking an IT Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and prioritize tasks across multiple initiatives, including change management activities
* The IT Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders from leadership, engineering, operations, and compliance teams
* Produce high-quality presentations and deliverables, including status updates, project plans, and milestone documentation
* Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating with cross-functional teams and other internal/external stakeholders
* Escalate risks and roadblocks effectively, ensuring clear and timely communication with leadership and stakeholders
* Utilize tools such as ITSM systems, CMDB, and project management software to track progress and manage project deliverables
* Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation to support project success
* The IT Project Manager will identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing blockers and escalating issues as needed
* Develop detailed post-mortem reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and actionable next steps

REQUIREMENTS:
* Clear and effective communication across a broad range of technical and non-technical teams
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to adapt to change, manage ambiguity, and lead through uncertainty
* Proficiency with project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
