Hiring a L2 Desktop Support professional 

Type of Role:
Contract-to-HIre
Pay: $27/hr and will roll to $55,000
Location: M-F in office, 1st shift hours, Brooksville, FL

Requirements:
  • 5+ yrs IT support; Windows (XP/7/10/11) & Windows Server (2003–2022)
  • AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO
  • Hardware/printer troubleshooting
  • Ticketing and documentation best practices.


Nice to Haves: 
VMware/Hyper-V; Azure; SCCM/MDT/Intune; PowerShell basics; lifecycle/asset management experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 support for end users and production systems for their internal employees both onsite & remotely 
  • Troubleshoot Windows clients (XP–11) and Servers (2003–2022)
  • Support networked/industrial printing; perform hardware diagnostics and upgrades (desktops/laptops/thin clients/peripherals)
  • Manage OS deployments, patches, and configurations
  • Document incidents/changes in the ticketing system
  • Monitor and support manufacturing systems to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams on server maintenance and access
  • Assist with asset management, licensing, and lifecycle tasks
  • Participate in rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
