POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Marketing Data Analyst will support marketing analytics initiatives, focusing on enhancing marketing performance and delivering data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in digital marketing analytics, with a strong background in working with multiple data platforms and an understanding of customer journey analytics. Proficiency in machine learning and experience with various digital data sources are also important for this role, which reports directly to the Director Marketing Analytics.

DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies that optimize marketing performance and enhance customer engagement.
  • Analyze and interpret marketing data from various channels to create, maintain, and enhance performance metrics and dashboards, providing actionable insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud, FullStory, Customer 360, and other digital tools to support marketing campaigns and analyze customer data, focusing on improving customer journey mapping and lifecycle management.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics and drive more personalized marketing initiatives.
  • Support the ongoing development of marketing analytics capabilities by mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the growth of the analytics team.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field.
  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on campaign performance, segmentation, and customer journey analysis.
  • 3-5 years' analytics experience with machine learning applications in marketing and hands-on Python experience.
  • 3-5 years' Mortgage/Financial Services industry experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, FullStory, and managing and analyzing social media data.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Excel and MS PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and leverage data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Thrives in situations of ambiguity and uncertainty by embracing change and thinking creatively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Fast learner - able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
