Job Title: ServiceNow ITAM QA Tester Remote USA

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM QA Tester to join our QA and ServiceNow delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience testing ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, including HAM and SAM, and ensuring high-quality, compliant implementations across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing of ServiceNow ITAM implementations.
  • Validate end-to-end ITAM processes including asset lifecycle, procurement, receiving, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Test Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
  • Create, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
  • Perform integration testing with Discovery, SCCM, CMDB, Procurement, and third-party tools.
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / ALM.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements.
  • Support UAT and production validation.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAM standards, audit requirements, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow QA / ITAM QA Tester.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, including:
    • IT Asset Management (ITAM)
    • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
    • Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Experience testing ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing; automation exposure is a plus.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with ServiceNow automated test framework (ATF).
  • Exposure to SCCM, JAMF, Intune, or other asset discovery tools.
  • ServiceNow ITAM or CSA certification.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, or licensing reviews
