The goal of this apprenticeship is to allow an individual with manufacturing interest to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in manufacturing. This position will be responsible for observing various areas of the facility's operations and assisting with basic production tasks under the guidance of trainers. Current high school students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Work under trainers in various areas within the Production Department
    • Assisting on packaging lines
    • Learn to clean, operate and inspect equipment
    • Maintain a clean workspace
  • Follow all appropriate GMP/safety rules and regulations.
  • Follow all youth safety standards as defined by OSHA and the State of IN.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Enrollment of Advanced Manufacturing Course
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility, organization, and time management skills.
  • 16+ years of age.
