Role: IT Project Manager
Location: Stamford, CT
Mon to Friday
Pay Rate: 0000/hr - 0000/hr on W2
Duration: 6 Months
Candidates must be in located in these states only: CT, NY, NJ, NC, MA, FL, PA, TX.
Will travel onsite to Stamford, CT for an occasional team meeting, but location is REMOTE
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Measure IT compliance against Purdue's IT Quality Management Framework/ IT Operating Model and Information Security Standards through IT Compliance Matrix & Metrics
Act as IT Project Manager to facilitate delivery of IT managed projects (Infrastructure or applications).
Manage aspects of IT Service Management Systems (ServiceNow) including Change Management queue
Education and Experience Requirements:
B.S. or Equivalent training/Certification Required
6+ years of relevant experience in Project and Quality Management and IT Operational Processes
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to operate under tight timelines, within specified quality and compliance goals.
Ability to work directly with IT Senior leadership team and interact with Business on a as needed basis.
Strong work ethic, learning and change agility, operating comfortably and effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Solid relationship skills and versatility of written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise in ITIL, Infrastructure lifecycle management, ISO, Total Quality Management (TQM), CFR Part 11, PMI (Project Management).
Knowledge of good documentation practices, computer system validation and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Process oriented mind-set.
Strong knowledge of the following computer systems and software (at a minimum):
o MS software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer, MS Teams, and MS Project
o ServiceNow, or any other ITSM tool
o Document Management Systems

Shift Schedule (i.e. 3x12, 5x8)
Flexible; Remote
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (i.e. 7A-7P)
Length of contract- 6months, possible extension
Ideal candidate has soft skills-
Attention to detail: Governing compliance docs
Works independently: training received, but once given a task can run with it, limited hand holding.
Sharp communication skills!
