SQL DBA/Developer
Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Irving, TX (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
Manage both on-premises and cloud databases utilizing SQL Server and Azure SQL services.
Implement and oversee the operational aspects of cloud-native and on-premise data platform solutions built on SQL Server and Azure SQL services.
Architect, model, design, and develop data systems.
Construct and validate databases for stability and efficiency.
Develop program views, functions, and stored procedures.
Craft optimized SQL queries for seamless integration with other applications.
Design database tables and dictionaries.
Create scripts, procedures, and triggers for application development.
Ensure data quality, backups, and database security.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of development experience using Azure SQL DB and SQL Server.
At least 2 years of experience supporting MySQL/MariaDB.
Proficiency in database architecture and dimensional data modeling (minimum of 2 years).
1+ year of experience in building and supporting both transactional and analytics systems, including data modeling.
Familiarity with Master Data Management efforts, including metadata management (minimum of 1 year).
Experience in database migrations to Azure Cloud.
