Job Details

Hybrid: Onsite in Washington, D.C. three times per week
Work Authorization: Open to H1B, s, and U.S. Citizens
Interview Process: Combination of video and in-person interviews
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Residency Requirement: Minimum of 3 years of continuous residency in the United States
Position Overview:
The SharePoint Developer will provide advanced support and development expertise for SharePoint applications, collaborating directly with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions. This role also involves mentoring junior developers, contributing to technical design, and ensuring compliance with best practices and development standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support SharePoint applications that align with user requirements and organizational standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to create user-centric applications and presentations
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development team members
Draft technical documentation, including design specifications and level of effort (LOE) estimates
Manage development tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of solutions
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve application functionality and user experience
Conduct code and solution reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
Communicate team progress, performance, and blockers to the SharePoint team lead
Ensure optimal use of resources to meet project deadlines
Maintain strong written and verbal communication with team members and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint client-side development
Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, REST API, CAML, and other front-end technologies
Strong understanding of SharePoint CSOM and integration techniques
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills
Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Skills:

Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, React, or .NET MVC
Strong HTML, CSS, XSLT, and Master Page development skills for UI customization
Expertise in SharePoint content types, metadata, web parts, and collaboration features
Experience integrating SharePoint with Office 365 apps like Teams, Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate
Proficiency with InfoPath and SharePoint Designer workflows
