Position: ETL Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 1 day onsite 4 days remote)

Project Length: 12+ months

A passionate and skilled ETL Engineer is being sought to join an innovative team and take on the exciting challenge of supporting a cutting-edge cloud-based analytics platform on AWS. As an integral part of the team, the chosen candidate will leverage expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake technologies to drive project success to new heights. This opportunity invites individuals who are dedicated to data, analytics, and pushing the boundaries of technology!

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of ETL experience in Informatica tools or similar technology
• 8 years of experience working on data warehousing projects
• Proficiency in enterprise-scale database solutions like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc
• Strong background in Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Preferred experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Business Intelligence tools, and data modeling
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar environments
• Familiarity with Python scripting for data manipulation and automation
• Prior experience with Informatica tools such as MDM, Axon, and EDC are highly desirable
• Experience working with the Snowflake Cloud Database

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to maintain and enhance a cloud-based analytics platform using Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake
• Utilize ETL expertise to develop and optimize data integration workflows
• Support data warehousing projects with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions
• Work on enterprise-scale database solutions, including Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and similar platforms
• Engage in Agile or Scrum methodologies to drive project success and ensure timely delivery
• Leverage experience with Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, Axon, and EDC to enhance platform capabilities
• Utilize skills in Python to create innovative solutions and automate processes
• Explore business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and others to visualize and communicate data insights effectively
• Contribute to the creation of data models, including star and snowflake schemas, both on a physical and logical level
• Demonstrate proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar environments to optimize data operations
• Utilize experience with Snowflake Cloud Database to ensure data efficiency and scalability
