SUMMARY:



We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure/network modernization, upgrade, migration, and operational stability projects, often spanning networks, data centers, ServiceNow, endpoint security, and related systems.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Lead cross-functional planning and orchestration of technology initiatives focused on IT Infrastructure/Network/Operations.

  • Partner with sponsors, business owners, analysts, and SMEs to define project scope, business case, ROI, resource requirements, and vendor deliverables.

  • Maintain alignment with PMO standards.

  • Leveraging a solid understanding of IT Infrastructure/Network/Operations, partner with IT Directors, CIO, ServiceDesk, End-Point engineering to organize, refine and document project business case, scope, goals, ROI/value argument, resource requirements, vendors services and project work deliverables, including Change Management when necessary. Track Capex vs Opex budget.

  • Build and drive ongoing refinement, updates and execution against a comprehensive project plan ensuring Assigned team members are well-informed of timelines and interdependencies - and capture estimating inputs from all team members.

  • Oversee and drive project to upgrade ServiceNow for service management.

  • Oversee and drive projects to implement Network Improvements (Wifi).

  • Proactively communicate with internal Business Operations and Technology teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure well-coordinated project execution, manage risks and issues and provide transparency to stakeholders and executive sponsors.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders on Change Management considerations to ensure a successful sequencing of communications, training and deployment of anything that impacts our wider user base.

  • Collaborate with colleagues using multiple back-office productivity and collaboration tools: Smartsheet, Box, Google Workspace (Gmail, GCalendar, GChat), Zoom, Lucid Charts, PowerPoint, Jira.

  • Maintain and uphold project management best practices: Scope Management, Risk & Issue & Decision Management, Schedule, Status, Dependency Management.

  • Partner with receiving Technology App/System Manager to compile "Transition to Support" Plan, including a Control Plan that defines when ROI confirmations are conducted to confirm ROI is achieved for PMO value-tracking analysis.

  • Conduct project health assessments, lessons learned as directed by PMO, project sponsors.



REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:




  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Management, Computer Systems, or related fields (preferred)

  • Possess Project Management certifications (PMP "required"; Prince2 "preferred" CSM "nice to have")

  • 5-7 years of experience leading technical projects in IT Infrastructure, Network Operations, and/or IT Helpdesk/IT Service Delivery.

  • Strong track record of collaborating & partnering with Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams

  • Professional experience leading technical projects related to Wi-Fi refreshes, SSO & IAM implementations, ServiceNow upgrades, and AV hardware & system rollouts.

  • Demonstrates strong teaming skills, fluid partnering interaction style, clear and concise written & verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can readily follow technical discussions with IT Infrastructure/Network/Operations managers and leads.

  • Experience with Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools. Preferred: Experience with Smartsheet for Project Management plans, dashboard status reporting. Aptitude to learn Smartsheet techniques to tailor project reports, as needed.

  • Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects with discretion and confidentiality - with budgets over $1M.

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
