Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, and installing bench top development platforms and large server systems. As a Lab Lead, you will oversee all aspects of lab operations, provide support and equipment to lab users, and work with the lab support team to complete various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, build, and install bench top development platforms and large server systems.
Run all aspects of lab operations and work with lab users to provide support and equipment.
Collaborate with the lab support team to complete big and small lab projects.
Prepare boards for detailed solder reworks to be completed by another lab.
Run system tests, collect and report on testing results, and screen modules and boards as part of validation.
Support lab shipping and receiving logistics and handle inventory of equipment and materials.
Maintain and organize lab equipment for efficiency and continuously look for ways to improve lab processes.
Maintain the Rack Lab inventory, run network cables between cabinets, and rack and stack systems using a server lift.
Work independently on new and old projects and be the single point of contact.
Set up lab benches and supervise their usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
Diploma/Certification, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in an electronic or testing lab in the areas of silicon bringup, board-level design/validation, or system design/validation.
Expertise in using oscilloscopes to set up, calibrate, and operate various models, including familiarity with different probing techniques and their applications.
Fundamental knowledge of computing architectures and relevant hands-on hardware/software debug experience.
Experience with Linux command line operation.
Solid system-level debugging experience and familiarity with board bring-up and customer support.
Ability to collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electronic circuits, systems, and components using oscilloscope readings.
Good attention to detail, as well as clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BMC, server management processors.
Proven knowledge of server and network troubleshooting and working in a data center.
Experience with lab test equipment setups for signal measurement using oscilloscopes and understanding schematics.
Experience with x86/ARM architectures and accelerated GPU computing.
Competence to perform simple solder reworks and mechanical reworks involving power tools such as a Dremel.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
