Title: R&D Technician (Food Science/Sensory) - Onsite

Description:


JOB DUTIES & REQUIRED SKILLS:
Capable of setting up benchtop, pilot plant experiments
Capable of managing product inventories, product entries, purchase orders
Support and lead pilot plant trials, product packing, shipping, labelling etc.
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs
Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices
Accurate data entry, documentation, following the procedures is a must
Capable of interacting with other employees to independently identify and organize resources for execution of experiments.
Available for travelling to manufacturing sites to support trials when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience in recording measurements and setting up sensory experiments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Standard Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills - oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone and internal to client)
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Works well in a team setting, working with QA/R&D work team on other aspects of project
Self-motivated and with initiative
Diligent and perseverant
