Job Details

Hybrid work mode - Candidates local to South Carolina are required. Candidates local to Georgia or North Carolina will be considered if they are willing to relocate to South Carolina.

Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure). This role involves working closely with product, network, and security teams, and requires strong consulting and technical skills in cloud security.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure

  • Implement cloud firewalls (Palo Alto) and zero trust architecture

  • Automate cloud security processes and build accelerators

  • Support SIEM, SOAR, and XDR technologies

  • Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI)

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience in cloud security engineering

  • AWS & Azure infrastructure and firewall experience

  • Palo Alto VM series deployment and configuration

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance

  • Prisma Cloud, Forescout, Cisco Umbrella, Palo Alto, F5 (Preferred)

Certifications:

  • AWS or Azure certification (Required)

  • CISSP, SC100, PCNSA, PCNSE, Prisma certifications (Preferred)
