Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
- Technical skills Insurance Domain knowledge, Policy Processing Applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and profiling skills.
- Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and Mapping documents for ETL applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed specifications for software developers.
- Conduct meetings/workshops to elicit, understand, and document business requirements using domain expertise.
- Analyze data, perform in depth analysis of existing data and guide team members on implementation of new requirements.
- Requires someone with insurance industry and data understanding.
- Knowledge of financial aspects like premium calculation and insurance transactions is needed.
- Understanding of policy definition and claims handling is important.
- Ability to interpret insurance requirements and translate them into data requirements.
- The BA will create source-to-target mappings.
- The BA will capture business transformation logic into technical transformation logic.
- They need to know how policies and claims are processed.
- They need to translate business and functional requirements into mapping documents for the technical team to use in DBT and Informatica.
