Job Title: IAM Operations Manager (Identity & Access Management)
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IAM Operations Manager with 8+ years of expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) service delivery and governance. This role will be onsite at the customer s location and responsible for overseeing identity lifecycle management, ensuring seamless provisioning and deprovisioning of user access while maintaining compliance, security, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will drive IAM service maturity, operational efficiency and collaborate effectively with customer stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

IAM Service Governance & Compliance:

  • Act as the single point of contact for IAM service governance, audit compliance, and incident management.
  • Maintain adherence to security policies, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage audit processes, ensuring timely remediation of compliance gaps.
  • Ensure change management processes align with customer policies.

Identity Lifecycle Management & Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily provisioning and deprovisioning of identity access.
  • Implement automation strategies to optimize IAM business processes.
  • Identify and resolve IAM service delivery gaps to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Lead major incident response calls, providing guidance from an IAM perspective.

Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track SLA/KPIs, ensuring adherence to performance benchmarks.
  • Lead service transition planning for new IAM program rollouts.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to align IAM service delivery with business objectives.
  • Develop IAM maturity roadmap strategies with customer leadership.

Reporting & Collaboration:

  • Provide regular metrics and reports on IAM service performance and compliance.
  • Manage service escalations, ensuring timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance service quality, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years in IAM service delivery and operations management.
  • Strong expertise in identity lifecycle management, IAM governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with audit processes, regulatory policies, and IAM security protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage IAM operational teams and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate with customer leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and escalation management abilities.
  • Proficiency in reporting, metrics analysis, and IAM project planning.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a managed services or service provider environment.
  • Knowledge of IAM tools such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and other Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, JIRA, and Office platforms.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and identity governance platforms.
  • Prior experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions within IAM.
