Title: Full Stack Developer
Contract: W2; 9 months Contract position with possibility of extension
Client: largest retail Company
location - Pleasanton, CA.
Candidates need to come to office occasionally as needed.

Java & ReactJS engineers that are seasoned technical leaders who are familiar with Java 21, SpringBoot, NextJS, Docker, Azure Kubernetes, Github Actions, and PostgreSQL databases.
The engineering leader should also be familiar with utilizing AI agents and building MCPs for software development and operations.
The engineer should be capable of producing quality code as an independent contributor.
Soft skills to guide and lead technical teams, own administrative tasks, and also be an independent contributor to code.
Proficiency in Java, along with strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills and exception handling.
Experience with the Spring Boot framework, web technologies is required.
Proficiency in using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD is necessary.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and experience with Apache Kafka are important.
Developing and maintaining REST APIs is a key responsibility.
This role involves leveraging these skills to build, optimize, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems.
Proficiency in Java, Object-Oriented-Programing, Microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture.(Bonus) Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with SpringBoot 3.X, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka.
Comprehensive knowledge of various software languages and platforms such as Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and public cloud (Azure / OCI)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub, GitHub Actions
Experience with alerting mechanisms using New Relic & Google Cloud Logging
Expert in Software Delivery Lifecycle using Agile methodologies, industry best practices, and security compliance - such as PCI/PII/SOX.
