OpenShift Engineer Greenwood Village, CO (Hybrid) Contract (in-person Interview Required)
Mandatory Skills
Experience with OpenShift in an on premise, bare-metal installation environment.
Experience with external storage (i.e. SAN, Fibre Channel, NFS, iSCSI, etc)
Description:
Lead Individual Contributor responsible for designing, implementing, researching, planning, administering, securing, and monitoring operating systems and container environments related to supporting and improving wireless engineering lab. Works with cross functional teams and advises leadership. Provides technology leadership and drives the Wireless Lab technology roadmap with stakeholders and partners.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Knowledge of related industry specifications, standards, technologies and protocols
Advanced Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
Advanced Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
Advanced Knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Advanced Knowledge of network devices and network appliances
Advanced knowledge of computer servers and various operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
Advanced knowledge of Containers and Orchestration systems (e.g. Docker, Rancher, OpenShift)
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Windows operating systems
Knowledge in securing Microsoft Windows operating systems
Advanced knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisors
Advanced knowledge of productivity software, such as Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Ability to perform duties in a fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Related Work Experience Number Of Years Engineering work experience 8-10
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Deep knowledge and Experience in Operating Systems, Containers, Virtualization, Storage, and related technologies.
Knowledge and Experience in creating engineering documentation packages including Engineering Design Document, Data Flow Diagram, Call Flow Diagram, Implementation Guide, Operations Guide, Maintenance Guide, Method of Procedure, Technical Bulletin, Test Plan, and Test Results.
Education
Industry and vendor specific certifications and training preferred (Red Hat, Microsoft, A+, Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc)
