Job Details

Role Overview:
The SAP S/4HANA UI Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and developing user interface (UI) components to support business requirements within the SAP ecosystem. This role requires expertise in configurable UI objects, custom development objects, and ABAP-based enhancements to deliver intuitive, efficient, and business-aligned user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configurable UI Objects

    • Perform UI component configurations to support business needs.

    • Configure Navigation Bar Profiles for optimized user navigation.

    • Implement Business Role Adjustments to align access and permissions.

    • Manage Action Profile Configurations to streamline business processes.

  2. Custom Development Objects

    • Business Object Layer (BOL) Enhancements:

      • Create custom BOL entities.

      • Develop custom queries for data retrieval and search optimization.

    • GenIL (Generic Interaction Layer) Components: Create or enhance GenIL components for seamless data interaction.

    • UI Component Development:

      • Build new views from scratch to present specific data.

      • Create custom assignment blocks (e.g., forecasts) embedded within standard pages.

      • Enhance existing Web UI components by adding new fields, functions, and UI logic.

    • ABAP Enhancements:

      • Develop or modify ABAP classes (controllers, views, helpers).

      • Define attributes to control UI behavior and integrate business logic.

    • Data Dictionary Objects: Design and create custom tables, fields, and structures.

    • Required Skills & Experience:

      • 8 Years of Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA UI frameworks and customization.

      • Hands-on expertise in BOL/GenIL development, ABAP programming, and UI configuration.

      • At least two successful SAP CRM to S/4HANA migrations.

      • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

      • Knowledge of SAP architecture, data modeling, and integration best practices.

      • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
